Running parallel with the Bible efforts, are we seeing a geek translation canon assserting itself? 

One of the first big LOLworks that caught my attention and helped inspire LOLCODE was the [[http://granades.com/2007/05/02/loltrek/|LOLTrek]] adaptation of the Trouble with Tribbles story.
