Alexis Ohanian (right), famous for Reddit, Breadpig, and being the guy who came up with the [[http://www.flickr.com/photos/33809408@N00/524925307/|original O'Reilly LOLCODE book cover]], now is doing his bit for charity. He bought one of the original [[http://laptop.org/|OLPC XO laptops]], and found that it wasn't quite usable in his large, mannish hands. 

So he brought it to ROFLCon, and had some of the internet celebrities and meme-creators autograph the laptop, and is now [[http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140233589223&_trksid=p3907.m32&_trkparms=tab%3DSelling|auctioning it off]]. All proceeds will go straight back to charity with OLPC. (I know it's not the most popular project right now, but some of us still believe in its ideals.)
