====== State of the LOLCODE ======

After a fair amount of feedback, [[specs:1.2|LOLCODE 1.2]] is now available for general consumption. I hope this version provides a solid baseline for any versions to follow. I have proposed some changes to how [[http://forum.lolcode.com/viewtopic.php?id=263|language proposals]] will be handled, moving some of the collaboration work back to the wiki.

People who are interested in LOLCODE but who aren't necessarily in involving themselves with the language design can certainly make a lot of contributions. In particular, the site and community could use:
  * Minimal code [[examples:examples]] illustrating/introducing one or two language concepts at a time
  * Documentation of [[keywords:keywords]] 
  * Status updates on [[implementations:implementations]].
  * People running implementations in parallel as testers (and generating code appropriate for doing so)
  * Close reading of the spec and documenting need for [[http://forum.lolcode.com/viewforum.php?id=9|clarification]]
